SJC Customs Training

SJC Customs Training is a Second June Corporation service aimed at making the increasingly complex regulations and requirements for importing into and exporting from the United States as accessible as possible, both to the trade community and to the general public.  SJC currently offers two courses focused on the Customs Broker License Exam (CBE) and provides on-site training to large importers and logistics companies.

Instructor–K.J. Hwang, JD, LCB

SJC’s principal instructor, K.J. “Keith” Hwang, is a licensed customs broker and international trade attorney. Keith has a passion for teaching, and he has succeeded both in preparing students for the Customs Broker License Exam and in assisting logistics professionals establish a clear and firm understanding of complicated legal concepts that govern U.S. customs transactions.

An honors (cum laude) graduate of Yale College, Keith received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.  A former Fulbright Scholar in Seoul, Korea, Keith is competent in Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese, and Korean languages.  He is a member of the State of California, Washington, D.C., and U.S. Court of International Trade bars.
