Notice of Examination Issued by CBP
June 23rd, 2009
The Notice of Examination for the October 2009 Customs Broker License Examination has been posted by Customs & Border Protection on its website, CBP.gov. This is one of the most important must-read documents for anyone wishing to take the October examination since it includes several pieces of critical information:
1) The texts, including specific versions of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States and the customs regulations, used by CBP to create the October exam
2) The deadline for submitting the application to take the exam
3) Significant and official logistical and exam content details not found elsewhere
Make no doubt: IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO TAKE THE OCTOBER EXAMINATION, YOU SHOULD PRINT OUT A COPY OF THIS DOCUMENT AND READ & HIGHLIGHT IT CAREFULLY. (Click here for suggestions on how to obtain the texts listed in the Notice.)
You should also take the opportunity to print out and review the Exam Application (CBP Form 3124E) linked in the Notice and the associated document entitled Exam Instructions posted nearby.
