For those planning to take the April 2010 Customs Broker License Examination (CBE),  SJC will begin its prep course on Tuesday, January 5 at the Regus Business Center, San Bruno, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.  San Francisco bay area examinees interested in taking the course are welcome to join the initial session, which will provide an overview of the CBE, general preparation, and the course.  There is no charge for this introductory class, but an RSVP is absolutely required either by using the sign-up form (below) or by contacting SJC by phone or email.  Click here for contact information.

Please note that to maximize learning, class size will be limited to 10 participants.   The cost of the course is $750.  For those presenting satisfactory evidence (e.g. CBP score letters) indicating that the April exam will be the third or more attempt, the cost of the course will be $500.  First-time takers should have some experience in customs brokerage, navigating federal regulations, or other background to suggest the ability to digest various regulatory topics at a rigorous level and pace.
